On 24 October 2009, held a long-awaited opening ceremony of the Care and Rehabilitation Centre for people with MS OSTOJA built by our Foundation. There were many guests on this happy occasion. A welcome speech delivered the President of the Blessed Aniela Salawa Foundation for the Support of MS Patients, Stefan Chłopicki:
Today is an important day for multiple sclerosis patients and their families. We are opening the object, still incomplete at the moment, as soon as we got permission from all services including fire department and sanel to conduct the Care and Rehabilitation Centre for people with MS OSTOJA. Construction was started in the last century and we couldn’t wait any longer. Currently there are 9 rooms finished (double and triple) with bathrooms for 24 people, 2 rooms for rehabilitation, doctor's office, a treatment room and rooms for physiotherapists, nurses and psychologists. The place where we are is not accidental, because brought us here kindness for people with disabilities and special commitment to the Lord Mayor in solving problems of Persons with Disabilities. It also brought us close to the forest. The center will be a place where there is another world where the staff is always cheerful, always has time for patients and all are treated equally. and Conducted here comprehensive rehabilitation will improve and help learn to live with this chronic disease of the nervous system.

Prof. Stanisław Grochmal died April 17, 1995 - a prominent neurologist, social worker, poet and officer in AK who inspired us to organize and lead a center for MS patients.
Mayor Stanisław Kracik, who gave us this property, supported us financially and organizationally in the city festival Niepołomice organizing raffle for the purpose of this center.
Architect Marek Jabłoński, who designed and ran selflessly supervision. Niestety, niedoczekał otwarcia Ostoi. Unfortunately, he died suddenly in July, before the opening of the center Ostoja.
Ryszard Głowa inspector, thanks to its competence and commitment and largely disinterested constant readiness have overcome all the pitfalls that lay in wait for us.
Kazimierz Burzawa contractor who has done construction work and outfiting on time with great expertise and a unique taste. He treat with understanding our financial problems.
Tadeusz Biernat, who oversaw in neighborhood support this object and protected it from the devastation.
Completion of this stage was made possible by a grant from the marshal's office PFRON and sponsors including particulary Leonard Pluta from Canada and the donations of many people. The most edifying for us is what we experience systematic support with the ability to carry out the collection organized by the eminent organist Ryszard Szostak cyclic Salwator Musical Evenings under the auspices fr. Jerzy Bryła and fr. Stefan Misinc. In a similar way supports us Medical Aid for Poland Fund and the Dutch Foundation of Gornsveld, whose support we have thank to Maria Kielanowska, she recommended us to the boss of Foundation, a friend of Poles Theo Van de Weerdt.
